As Victoria opens up and people have their freedom once again, the number of cases hit over the thousand daily and number of deaths because the latest Delta spread climbs to several hundreds,


Mayor of Hume city council Councillor Joseph Haweil spoke to SBS about the opening and showed his joy as all Victorians for the new freedom that started from 6PM on Friday 29 October 2021.

Mayor Haweil says his city few months ago was considered one of the lowest in vaccination rate, but now, big number of resident are vaccinated.

Cr. Haweil talks about the latest storms that created so much damage to Hume and surrounding areas.
