Huge numbers of university students in Sulaimaniyah and Erbil, demonstrated in the streets shouting slogans asking the Kurdistan region government to reintroduce the monthly payment of US$60 that has been cut since 2014. In this weekly report, our correspondent from Duhok Naseem Sadiq sends some highlights of the demonstration with some of the student's and officials comments.
