Six Assyrian parties in Sydney have formed an alliance called Coalition of the Assyrian Parties in Australia.
"The aim is to unify all parties towards a stronger national body for the benefit of the Assyrian nation", says Ms Jacqueline Georges, Secretary of the coalition.
Ms Georges told SBS that this coalition is a step forward to form one voice and unite all parties to be a driving force to help the Assyrian nation get their rights in the homeland.
Members of the Coalition are:
Abnaa Alnahrain Party
Bet Nahrain Democratic Party
The Assyrian Democratic Organisation
The Assyrian Democratic Party
The Assyrian General Conference
The Assyrian Party
