The departure of Mr Youaw Toma Kanna, the founder of The Assyrian Australian Association has saddened many members of the Assyrian community in Sydney. SBS spoke to his Widow Mrs Sophia Kanna who expressed her deepest sadness for losing her life time partner. She talks about his kindness, generosity and love for his nation. Also in this segment, we are talking to two of his best colleagues and friends, Mr Philimon Darmo and Mr Dinkha Warda. Both praised the vision and leadership of Mr Kanna as President of the AAA and his dedication for the past 55 years to serve the Assyrian community in Sydney.
