Few months ago we reported on the bombardment of chilek and how the remaining residents in this Assyrian village in northern Iraq are fearing for their life.
Naseem Sadiq reports on the return of owners of the village of Chilek in northern Iraq while it is still facing bombardment by the Turkish army as they fight against the Kurdish Worker's Party (PKK) in villages in Kurdistan, in the Governorate of Duhok. He spoke to a resident of the village who is an attorney, Mr Elbroon Kh. Dinkha, who said that 40-50 percent of the villagers are back but they still fear for their life as the bombardment by the Turkish forces continues.
