"Iraq, is a graveyard for ethnic and religious minorities, each month, more Christians leave Iraq to resettle in the West." Mr Sabah Michael told the SBS Assyrian program. Stating that the Christian community in Iraq currently faces possible extinction as a result of religious persecution and ongoing national instability. Mr. Sabah visited almost all the Christian dominated neighborhoods in Baghdad before 2003, to find out that these districts are currently empty of Christians.
