Benyamin Benyamin was honoured by the Assyrian Church for his decades-long commitment and contribution to the Assyrian community in Australia. The recognition was presented to him in acknowledgement of his tireless efforts in teaching, promoting, translating, and publishing numerous books in the Assyrian language. HB Mar Meelis Zaia presented the award in the presence of clergy members of the Assyrian Church, students from the Assyrian Language College and representatives of various Assyrian organisations and associations.
