UN resolution urges Russia to end war in Ukraine as anniversary marked

One year ago, the relationship between Russia and Ukraine took a dramatic turn. Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has now rolled on for 365 days and still there is no end in sight.


Ukraine has lost thousands of civilians and troops, millions of people are displaced, and cities have been reduced to rubble.

Those in Russia have also felt the impact and will continue to do so as the United States and other prepare to impose more sanctions, even as China prepares to propose a peace plan.
