The spread of COVID-19 In Victoria and New South Wales occurred from within Australia, so it was difficult to track down and discover its origin. Victoria worked to limit its spread by restraining it, otherwise it would have spread in very large numbers. In New South Wales, it began to spread from restaurants, hotels, churches and markets, so you should pay attention because it is very fast spread. So what to do?

Dr. Maryam Joseph, a Geriatrician specialist and working at Fairfield Hospital, said the governments are working hard to put new restrictions, wearing masks, determine the mobility between the states only for good reasons.

She emphasized, to avoid a repetition of what happened in Victoria, the New South Wales government returned to identifying gatherings in halls, restaurants and churches.

Dr Mariam called to adhere to social distance and reduce the presence in crowded places.
She added " wearing mask is beneficial because it reduces the chances of infection by 70% and this is very good and we can get used to wearing it, especially when standing in the lines waiting for a test or places that cannot be adhered to social distancing. It is not possible to know who is next to you is contracted COVID -19 or not."
She said the states increased COVID-19 testing centers. The test is easy, requires filling in an information form, then a sample of the RNA virus or genes is taken and you usually get the result in one day. Some believe that if the result is negative, means there is no virus, but there is a 20 percent chance of false negative, as the virus may not appear in the sample for certain reasons. The person is infected, but the symptoms of the virus do not appear until a few days, so we should pay attention, even if a person tests negative, doesn’t mean they won’t become ill.
