Due to heavy snowfall, Dohuk's roads were blocked, causing numerous collisions across the city. Markets were disrupted, and the city saw shopping centres and many businesses close their doors to customers.

Due to heavy snowfall, Dohuk's roads were blocked, causing numerous collisions across the city. Markets were disrupted, and the city saw shopping centres and many businesses close their doors to customers.


SBS correspondent Naseem Sadiq described the effects of the heavy snowfall on people living in Dohuk, who live without heating and face gas shortages, required for various household necessities such as cooking. This comes at a time for the people of Dohuk who are already facing the ongoing fuel crisis. People have taken to social media to protest these poor living conditions and demanding that the government do more for them.
