Dr Nickolas Aljeelo participated in 5th congress of Middle East studies which is held every four years. This time it was held in Seville, Spain. More than 2,050 scholars and researchers from 70 countries participated. Dr Nickolas paper was about the role of the Assyrian Aid Society in northern Iraq and it's contribution to the well being of the Assyrian people in that region through building schools, helping people get electricity generators and many other projects. He also talked about the importance of having Assyrian academics attending such conferences to tell the world about our nation from an Assyrian prospective.
