Buddha Purnima it marks the birth anniversary of Gautam Buddha and is a Buddhist festival that's celebrated all over Indian and even in some South-East Asian countries. Also known as Vesak, Buddha Purnima or Buddha Jayanti, the festival celebrates the birth of Siddhartha Gautam, who later became Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
