Boris Stankov has lived in Sydney for 25 years. Like many other Bulgarian parents, he and his wife Veska moved to Australia to live out their days on this earth with their family, with those they love endlessly.
Typically, you would say, there is nothing special in this story ... And it would be so if Boris dоес not turn 100 later this year, and his wife of 72 years - Veska was not 95.
Among other things, Boris has written three books published in Bulgaria comprising of stories about the two world wars of the 20th century.
Boris and Veska's daughter, Jorjeta, from Sydney, tells the story of how the three books were written. She said her parents proudly call Australia second home. However the nostalgia for Bulgaria is still strong in them.
