Recently, Dr. Maria Staykova - a neuro-immunologist from Canberra, was awarded third prize in the competition "Fire-dancing - the Burning heart of Bulgarian spirit" for her essay 'For Fire-dancing from scientific point of view'.
The competition is organised by the Salon of Bulgarian Spirituality and Culture in Chicago, USA and by the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
