An investigation into the fake bomb threats is underway, but it is now clear that the source is outside Bulgaria. Acting Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev admitted that the main suspicion is of a Russian hacker group. The Russian embassy in Sofia reacted as if stung and denied it, although to deny the suspicion as such is a foolish approach. But it was even more awkward that after the Russian reaction, Minister Demerjiev also denied his words, although everyone had heard them beforehand.
