Not sparse in events the past 2019 was considered as a transitional year for Bulgaria.
The bad news, however, is that the threats and challenges amassed over the year are far more than the good news and this does not inspire much hope for a brighter future.
If an event could be singled out in 2019 it should be the deal with the United States to buy 8 fighter jets F-16.
