Center for Ukrainian Refugee in Varna has processed over 12,000 people

Journalist Tatiana Christy, a volunteer at the Center, unveils poignant stories about the refugees from Ukraine.


Almost 70,000 refugees from Ukraine have entered Bulgaria since the start of the war (February 24, 2022).

However, less than half - 33,500 people - remained in Bulgaria, while one third of them are children.

A large number of refugees arrived in the sea capital, Varna.

The Center for Assistance of Refugees from Ukraine in Varna is located in the Sports Hall and has urgent need for food, sanitary materials and medicines.
