· In appointing the caretaker government, President Rumen Radev highlighted its priorities. The first is "not to involve the country in a conflict". The second -"security of supply and the price of energy carriers". In third place Radev recommended, "to ensure predictability and a clear horizon of the agricultural producers and to control the inflation".

· The new Prime Minister is Gulab Donev is close to the President. He's been Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Social Affairs politics, and Minister of Labour and Social Policy in two previous interim cabinets.

· Upon taking office, Donev indicated different from the presidential main priorities - organising and holding fair elections, restoring trust between institutions and calming the political tension.
