In our retrospective interview, marking the 40th anniversary of the Bulgarian radio program on SBS, we meet Mira Paunova.
At that time of the original interview (2009) Mira was the creator and moderator of the Bulgarian Yahoo Group and the topic of our meeting was how Bulgarians communicate in social networks, what issues excite or worry them.
Social media now offer new and more advanced ways to keep in touch with each other, share information and opinions.
The then Yahoo group, Bulgarians in Sydney, transitioned into the current FB group Bulgarians in Sydney.
The evolution of digital communication will not end here. Those who want to keep in touch with their Bulgarian compatriots, both here, in Australia, and around the world already have many more means to do it.
