The Fifth World Meeting of Bulgarian Media took place from 17 to 21 May 2009.
The topic of the fifth edition was "Whether in Real, Virtual and Information Space: Tourism, High Technology and the Media - the Bulgarian Arguments against the Crisis".
The forum attended representatives from Germany, Israel, the Czech Republic, the US, the UK, Ukraine, Canada, the Vatican, Hungary, Cyprus, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia and Romania.
Forty of the largest Bulgarian media was represented at the discussions, including media professionals from the Western Outlands in Serbia and Banat Bulgarians. The meeting will reflect the expanding geography of Bulgarian media around the world: a website in Sweden, magazines in Croatia and Slovakia.
