GERB wins the European elections in Bulgaria

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) in Bulgaria officially announced the results of the European elections.

Bulgarian parties and coalitions that will have their representatives in the new European Parliament are GERB, BSP, DPS (MRF), VMRO (IMRO) and Democratic Bulgaria.

According to the latest CEC data:

- 31% of the actual ballots released in the polls last Sunday were for GERB (6 seats)

- BSP collects 24% of the vote (5 seats)

- For the DPS voted 16% of the people (3 seats)

- VMRO collected 7% and (2 seats)

- Democratic Bulgaria - 6%. (1 seat)
