BGN 2,325 per month are needed for a family of 4 to lead a normal life, according to a report by the Institute for Trade and Social Studies at Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bulgaria (CITUB), one of the two big unions in Bulgaria.
Is this enough for Bulgarians not just to stay alive, but to be also happy?
A truly normal life, that is, one in which you not only vegetate, but you are happy and enjoy it, have 7,865 households in Bulgaria.
Their bank deposits, according to Bulgarian National Bank, as of November 2017, are between BGN 200 and 500 thousand.
