In Bulgaria President Radev's National Security Advisory Council discussed the Ukrainian crisis

• Russia's threat to Ukraine is escalating and Bulgaria, at least so far, has held a position of neutrality rather than that of a NATO member.
• The measures outlined by the President's CIS are long-term while there is a direct military threat near Bulgaria's border that requires direct action.
• PM Kiril Petkov declared that Bulgaria strongly supports Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity according to its internationally recognised borders and condemns Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea.
