Edmund produced one of the upsets of the Australian Open

Britain's Kyle Edmund stunned third seed Grigor Dimitrov with 3:1 (6-4 3-6 6-3 6-4) win and reached his first Grand Slam semi-final at the Australian Open.

Edmund - world number 49, becomes only the sixth British man to reach the last four at a Grand Slam in the Open era.

Dimitrov was excellent in his fourth-round victory over Nick Kyrgios, but struggled with his other opponents.

Grogor was taken to five sets by qualifier Mackenzie McDonald in round two and then served 15 double faults against Andrey Rublev in the following round.

This was the third meeting between the pair, with the previous two won by Dimitrov, including two weeks ago in Brisbane.
