Reni Chelebieva presents "Roots and Wings" - a new initiatives of Rodina - Sydney, which started in February 2021. This is a series of six online live interviews with Bulgarians, whose life and work are inspiring.
The first guest of "Roots and Wings" is the world-famous conductor Yordan Kamdzhalov. Maestro Kamdzhalov studied conducting at the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov ” with Prof. Vasil Kazandjiev, at the Hans Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin, at the Allianz-Philharmonia International Academy of Conductors and at the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Maestro Kamdzhalov has specialised with world-class conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Esa-Peka Salonen, Sir Simon Rattle, Zubin Meta, Seiji Ozawa, Kurt Mazur, Lorin Maazel, David Zinman, Daniel Barenboim.
