Award-winning theatre artist Bagryana Popov, who translated, adapted and directed the play, who leads the 2nd Year Acting students from the Art Academy, Perth, on a journey of cultural exploration and imagination to devise an original theatre piece inspired by Bulgarian folklore.

Tales of the mystical Samovilas, woodland nymphs who possess the ability to hurt or heal, are part of southeast Europe's rich mythology and offer a gateway to a dark and magical world.
