Sydney Children's Festival is a significant multicultural event in Australia, unique in its celebration of cultural diversity with a spectacular non-stop entertainment program performed by almost 30 groups from different cultural backgrounds and attended by many thousand children and their families.

Under the motto "Play Together and Live in Harmony", Children's Festival is a day for everyone, especially children to get together in a multicultural environment where they enjoy fun together, do things together and share their new experience with each other.

This year the Children's Festival in Sydney will be held on Saturday 13th of May at First Fleet Park, The Rocks, which is an iconic spot on Sydney Harbour, next to Circular Quay Railway Station, from 11.00am to 4.00pm.

Another important thing is the poster competition with the theme chosen for this year being "Building on our diversity".

One of the organises of the Children's Festival this year is Bulgarian born Marina Mileva who is also the Director of the Bulgarian Language Class in Sydney.
