30 situational portraits of Bulgarians from Melbourne are complimented by their short biographies

On January 14, in Melbourne was presented a photo-book  “The Bulgarians in Melbourne”, featuring art photography by Radost Racheva.

The photo-book contains 30 situational portraits of Bulgarians from Melbourne, accompanied by their short biographies.

The presentation of the book was attended not only by some of the people featured, but also by many guests, friends and admirers of the talent of Radost Racheva.
At the presentation, Radost said that the project was born as a graduation work for her RMIT Art Photography course.

However, from a study project, the book became a photo-record of the Bulgarian community in Melbourne, as well as a chronicle that will soon have a second part.

You can hear more from some of the participants in that remarkable event in Melbourne.
