Australia did not qualify for the Grand Final of Eurovision Song Contest with Montaigne's song "Technicolor".
Unlike the other performers, who had the opportunity to sing on stage in Rotterdam with great visual effects, Montaigne was the only performer in the first semifinal of the competition, who due to concerns about Covid-19 participated from her home in Australia with a pre-recorded video.
This obviously disappointed both the audience and the jury and probably influenced their decision not to qualify the singer for the Grand Final.
To the delight of Bulgarian fans, Victoria qualified for Eurovision’s Grand Final after a great performance in the second semifinal of the song contest. The Bulgarian singer came out under the fatal number 13 to the big stage, which brought her luck.
"I'm not worried, I'm rather excited, because for the first time in so long I will sing in front of a live audience," Victoria told Bulgarian officials in Rotterdam before the semifinals.

The Eurovision final will be broadcast live on SBS at 5 am on Sunday morning, May 23, and the replay at 7:30 pm.
