Vasil Georgiev widely known as Vasko Krupkata or Vasko The Patch is a blues-guitarist, singer and songwriter, is a front man of the Sofia rock band Podouene blues band , born June 6, 1959 in Sofia. He plays drums, harmonica, and guitar.
Vasko is a musician who has never betrayed his style and whose songs invariably include socially relevant messages. Until 2000 Vasko Krupkata was the leader of the celebrated Poduene Blues Band.
In the years that followed he worked for the young band Kaskadiori (Stuntmen).
Two of the songs of Vasko the Patch are taught in music books "100 Years Rockenrol" and "Let It Be Light".
On May 24, 2018, five of the songs of Vasko Patch, "Communism Goes”, "The Dog of the End Quarter”, "Let It Be Light”, "Day after Day", and "Emigrants" enter the US Congress Library, in the "Ljuboslov" almanac, a yearbook of Bulgarian writers in the United States and around the world.
