The Berlin Institute points to Bulgaria as an example of the way Europe could tackle the economic consequences of its aging population - through education after high-school that could lead to a higher employment.
"Bulgaria must use the labor of the Roma people, otherwise it is doomed to poverty and economic problems" is a key conclusion in the analysis of the Berlin Institute for Population and Development.
The Berlin Institute's analysis states that "Bulgaria's demographic problems are the main obstacle to reaching the EU average standard of living in the country."
