Australia and China have agreed to remove restrictions on air services between the two countries.

The new arrangements will remove all capacity restrictions and allow for increased trade and tourism.

Trade Minister Steven Ciobo says the Chinese outbound tourism market is predicted to double to over 200 million travellers annually by 2020.

He says this agreement will help Australia snare a larger slice of that market - creating more Australian jobs and economic growth.
