‘Black teens’ and dogs not allowed: Racist sign left on Melton milk bar window

Victoria's Multicultural Minister has described as 'overtly racist' a sign banning black teenagers and dogs from a shop in suburban Melbourne.

The owner of the Melton store says he hung the printed sign on the shop door in response to over 20 thefts in the past two years.

Reportedly, the sign has been taken down.

Minister Robin Scott says groups of people shouldn't be discriminated against on racial grounds.
