The mercury is set to hover around 30C across Australia - perfect weather to throw a shrimp on the barbie or play a game of beach cricket.
Adelaide is set to be the hottest with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting 37C.
Perth will be the next warmest - welcoming Santa with a balmy 35C.
The jolly man will also need to wear his shorts when dropping presents off in Darwin and Canberra with a sunny 32C predicted, Melbourne 30C and Sydney and Brisbane 28C.
