Body found on highway believed to be murdered Qi Yu

Police have found a body on Sydney's North Shore, believed to be missing Chinese national Qi Yu.

Police believe they may have found the body of murdered Sydney woman Qi Yu, after human remains were found on the Upper North Shore this morning.

A body was found just off the M1 motorway near Berowra about 8.30am.

Witnesses have told media a large police presence remains at the scene.

It’s understood police believe the body may be Ms Yu’s. 

The 28-year-old Chinese national was last seen by friends at her Campsie share house on June 8.

Her 19-year-old flatmate has been charged with her murder.
