It's the post-grand final family day 62 years in the making.

The Western Bulldogs won their first AFL premiership since 1954 on Saturday, beating the Sydney Swans 13.11 (89) to 10.7 (67).

Fans are invited to Whitten Oval on Sunday morning to help the team keep the celebrations going.

The 2016 Western Bulldogs Grand Final team will be presented onstage and there will be interviews with players and coaches throughout the day.

Gates open for the family day from 11am with entry by gold coin donation.
