Bus that drives over cars hits the road in China

A bus that travels over cars has run its inaugural test in China's Hebei province.

The 2 metre high transit elevated bus (TEB)allows cars to pass beneath it.

The bus is powered by electricity and can carry around 300 passengers.

It is being tested on a controlled track in the north eastern city of Qinhaungdao.

It is unclear whether the bus will be used widely in China, though 40 conventional buses could be replaced.
