Dr Paul Ng – Mental patients’ Confidentiality

Confidentiality is protected by laws including the Mental Health Act that exist to make sure people respect and protect your mental health information. If people want to give out your mental health information, they need to ask your permission first. If they do not have permission, they cannot disclose your details unless the law says it is ok and there is a good reason for doing so. Dr Paul Ng, Consultant Psychiatrist, explains.
