Sydney food safety authorities have been alerted after video emerged of a giant rat at the popular Din Tai Fung restaurant at Sydney's Westfield shopping centre.
Footage of the rodent, which appears to be very well fed, was posted to YouTube yesterday, but it's unclear when it was filmed.
The City of Sydney says it's aware of the video.

"A City environmental health officer inspected Din Tai Fung this morning and was informed by staff that the business had been voluntarily shut down," the statement said.
The outlet will not be allowed to reopen until another inspection is carried out.
