Emmys 2018: Canadian Sandra Oh makes history with Emmy nomination

Ottawa native Sandra Oh made history as the first Asian woman to be nominated for an Emmy Award for lead actress in a drama series.

According to ABC, Sandra Oh is the first Asian woman up for a lead actress Emmy, and one of only 27 women of colour in 20 years.
