Father of eight-year-old girl who died from flu urges parents to immunise their children

The father of the eight-year-old girl who died from the flu in Melbourne has urged everyone to get their kids immunised after losing their 'little angel'.

父母在声明中表示,对于“美丽和可爱的小天使离去”感到极度悲痛,呼吁公众为子女接种流感疫苖,“我们敦促每个人为他们的孩子注射流感疫苗,并希望能尊重我们的隐私,给我们的家庭时间和空间节哀”。

其母亲在声明中说:“我现在只是行尸走肉。”其家庭朋友James Bailey为这个家庭发起了众筹。

医生:不要低估流感威力

在父亲节当天,一名年轻的父亲Ben Ihlow也因为流感去世。有家庭医生指出,很多人以为流感并发症才可怕,其实流感又称为“感冒之王”,杀伤力不同于一般感冒,可致成人连续发烧八至十天,可至上吐下泻,对儿童和长者十分危险。

单在维州,过去数月的流感数字高达 1.3 万宗,造成最少 95 人死亡,多数死者是养老院的长者。

澳洲不同于亚洲国家,不流行在公众场所戴口罩,在一般门诊,甚少有指引防范轮候的病人互相感染。
