Grave concerns held for missing Campsie woman

Police investigating the disappearance of a woman from Campsie are re-appealing for public assistance, with grave concerns for her welfare.

Qi Yu, 28, last made communication with family in China about 7.15pm on Friday 8 June 2018.

She has not been heard from since and police and family hold grave concerns for her welfare.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command launched an investigation to locate the woman and are appealing for the community’s help.

Homicide Squad detectives are now assisting with the investigation.

About 8.30pm on Saturday 9 June 2018, police located Qi’s white 2016 model Toyota Corolla with NSW registration plates DLK-13P in Lindsay Street, Burwood.

Anyone that saw her vehicle between the hours of 7pm Friday (8 June 2018) and 8.30pm Saturday (9 June 2018) is urged to come forward.

Investigators are asking anyone that has any information on her whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
