Five men linked to an anti-establishment bookstore in Hong Kong disappeared last year, with many suspecting Chinese involvement. Dateline investigates their case and talks to the daughter of one of the disappeared men, who is speaking out for truth and justice.

2015年10月至12月期间,香港「铜锣湾书店」五人陆续失踪案。失踪的这五分别是该店母公司巨流传媒有限公司的股东桂民海与吕波、业务经理张志平、铜锣湾书店经营者李波以及店长林荣基。在失踪半个月到三个月后,全部人员证实身处中国大陆。由于李波是在香港境内失踪,因此受到香港社会的广泛关注,质疑该事件有否牵涉有中国大陆官方人员来港施行跨境绑架。

铜锣湾书店以出版和出售有关中国领导人,以及一些在大陆无法出版及发售的政治书籍而闻名,很多到香港旅游的大陆人都会专程前来购买政治类书籍。 如今这间书店已经人去楼空。

股东桂民海是一名在中国出生的瑞典籍学者和图书发行商。在失踪三个月后,今年1月,桂民海出现在中国官方的中央电视台新闻中,公开承认2004年在宁波犯下酒醉。他的女儿Angela Gui认为父亲是被中国当局刻意安排,认为父亲是被非法覊押。

现在这五个人中除了桂民海依然下落不明,其他人都已经返回香港。桂民海的女儿Angela Gui于今年五月出席美国国会听证会,提到父亲“被绑架”,呼吁国际社会协助释放他。详情观看Dateline的报道。
