Illegal immigrants found at Melbourne shop

Australian Border Force officers have detained a number of unlawful non-citizens working at a restaurant in Melbourne's east and will deport them.

Illegal immigrants working at a dumpling restaurant in Melbourne's eastern suburbs have been detained and will leave Australia after a federal border police raid.

A number of unlawful non-citizens were working at Dumpling King in Doncaster when officers executed a warrant at the store on Thursday, and have been detained while arrangements are made to remove them from Australia.

An Australian Border Force spokesperson said investigations were ongoing and the business may face penalties.
