The entire board of the SCG Trust - including veteran broadcaster Alan Jones - will be sacked if Labor wins the NSW state election.

Opposition leader Michael Daley told Jones on Tuesday morning that he intended to remove the trustees that oversee operation of the Moore Park sporting facilities, such as Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground.

"If I'm elected, the board will go," Mr Daley told Jones on 2GB radio.

"Sorry about the SCG Trust, thanks for your service."

Jones replied: "We don't mind, that's your job."

He noted the board did the job for free.

Mr Daley later said in a statement he intended to replace the board with people that "better reflect the diversity of the sports loving people of NSW".

He alleged the board had colluded with the NSW government to spend more than $700 million of taxpayer money to demolish and rebuild Allianz Stadium.

In the statement, Mr Daley qualified that he would only sack the unelected members of the board.

Phil Waugh and David Gilbert, who were elected by members will stay, as will former test cricketer Stuart MacGill.
