The Malaysian government released a report into the March 2014 disappearance of MH370 on Monday which posed more questions than answers.
Lead investigator Kok Soo Chon told media in Putrajaya "we cannot determine with any certainty the reason the plane diverted from its planned route".
"The team is unable to determine the real reason for the disappearance," he said.
One conclusion of the report was that MH370 deviated from its path and turned back under manual control.
"The turn back was made not under autopilot but under manual control ... There is no evidence to support the theory that MH370 was taken over by remote control," he said.
