Malcolm Turnbull has warned the eyes of the world are on Beijing, again calling for China to rein in North Korea. The nuclear threat from North Korea has dominated Malcolm Turnbull's official talks with U-S Vice President Mike Pence in Sydney.

Mr Pence has charcterised North Korea as an "urgent and most dangerous threat" to peace and security in the Asia Pacific.

The prime minister says Australia is looking to China to provide a stable influence.
