Notre Dame attacker shouted 'this is for Syria' before being shot

Paris police shot a man after he attempted to attack police with a hammer at the popular tourist spot, Notre Dame.

据法新社报道,消息人士说,遭袭击受伤员警的一名同事立即向袭警者开枪,该男子应声倒地,他袭警的动机不明。

法国媒体报道称,这名嫌疑人的胸部受伤,受到袭击的警员受轻伤。

法国反恐检察官已针对这起袭警事件,展开调查。

武装警察封锁了巴黎圣母院,要求教堂内的人们把手放在头上,以进行清理现场。社交媒体拍自圣母院内的照片显示,人们坐在地上,并把双手高举,显然是应警方要求。

法国内政部长杰拉尔·科隆表示,警方迅速的采取了行动。

“一个人用一把锤子来到一个警察后面,开始攻击他。 另一名警察立即对他进行了射击以作回应。 受伤的警察正在医院康复,攻击者也受伤了。 该事件正在由检察官进行调查,因为他在制造攻击时,喊的口号是"这是为了叙利亚"。”

巴黎有关当局要求民众远离圣母院。圣母院位于巴黎市中心塞纳河中岛屿上,是法国高人气观光景点之一。

目前,全法因英国伦敦3日晚的恐袭而处于防范圣战士发动攻击的高度警戒状态。
