Queen's Birthday Honours 2018: Sex worker advocate Julie Bates recognised

Julie Bates has spent the past decades  "championing the rights of sex workers — human rights, legal rights and industrial rights".

Now she is being awarded an AO for distinguished service to community health and harm reduction.
