He will go on as an independent - blaming policy differences and what he's described as 'un-Australian' behavior towards him by Senator Hanson.
Senator Hanson claims Senator Culleton was not a team player, and that she refused a request from him for financial help in connection with a Federal Court bankruptcy case.
She's told Sky News there've been problems for some time, but she only learned of his departure on Sunday night. (dec 18)
"I was woken up by a staffer, who rang me at approximately 10.30(pm), and said there's a post on his Facebook page saying that he has quit One Nation. And that's how I found out about it. It's just been a rollercoaster ride for weeks."
